Four projects of Beijing Polytechnic Press were selected as National Publishing Fund projects in 2023

Editor: Huo Shubo Review: Jay Lin Number of readings:Recently, the list of projects funded by the National Publishing Fund in 2023 was officially announced。After expert review and approval by the National Publishing Fund Committee, four projects including "Space Science and Technology Research Series · Space Situational Awareness and Control Technology" and "Intelligent Vehicle Frontier Technology Series" declared by the Beijing Institute of Technology Press were approved。At this point, a total of 30 projects of the Beijing Polytechnic Press have been selected into the National Publishing Fund for 12 consecutive years。
The Space Science and Technology Research Series Space Situational Awareness and Control Technology is edited by Chen Xiaoqian, a researcher from the Academy of Military Sciences,Prof. Cao Lu, Academy of Military Sciences, Prof. Li Shuang, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Xiao Bing, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Prof. Wang Xiaoyong, Beijing Institute of Space Mechatronic Engineering, and Prof. Chen He, Zheng Dezhi, Qiao Dong, Qin Tong, Beijing Institute of Technology,The series brings together the forward-looking research and innovative achievements in the field of space situational awareness and control technology in China from the aspects of platform, load, remote sensing, control, multi-source heterogeneous data fusion processing and so on。
The Translation of Space Life Support System is organized by Academician Zhao Yufen and Professor Deng Yulin of Beijing Institute of Technology, and compiled by China Astronaut Research and Training Center and Beijing Institute of Technology and other units. It is another masterpiece on the basis of the Space Life Science and Technology Series。The series systematically introduces the general development of space life support system, plant production technology, resource recycling technology, system integration technology and ground simulation。
The Space Debris Protection and Asteroid Defense Series is led by Academician Wu Weiren,It was jointly compiled by Gong Zizheng, China Academy of Space Technology, Hu Chaobin, China National Space Administration Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center, Zhao Jian, China National Space Administration Earth Observation and Data Center, Zhao Haibin, Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other scholars。The series mainly focuses on five major areas, such as space debris removal and protection, near-Earth asteroid monitoring and early warning, risk assessment, on-orbit disposal and disaster relief, comprehensively reflecting the international frontier and progress, and systematically summarizing the series of basic theoretical research, core technology research and best engineering practices in this field in China。
The Advanced Technology Series of Intelligent Vehicles is led by Academician Xiang Changle and Academician Chen Jie, and co-created by professors Gong Jianwei, Xin Bin, Xiong Guangming and Li Xueyuan from Beijing Institute of Technology。The series focuses on the four key technical directions of intelligent vehicle "perception recognition, decision planning, control execution, and vehicle-road collaboration", focusing on the summary of theoretical research results and engineering applications, and is a set of high-end academic books that comprehensively displays advanced research results of intelligent vehicles。
In recent years, the Beijing Polytechnic Press has always adhered to the right innovation, and constantly achieved leapfrog development. Introduction to the National Publishing Fund:
Established in 2007, the National Publishing Fund is the third largest fund established by the State after the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Foundation. Its predecessor is the "Special Fund for Major Publishing Projects", which aims to finance the publication of outstanding public welfare publishing projects。
